Teach Tearmainn is a non-profit organization, with charitable status, serving women and children who are experiencing domestic violence and abuse.

Teach Tearmainn (meaning House of Refuge) was stablished in 1999. Along with our purpose built refuge, Teach Tearmainn have a dedicated Outreach Centre located in Naas.

      Notice of AGM

Notice is hereby given that the 2025 Annual General Meeting of Teach Tearmainn
Housing Association CLG (CHY 14328. Reg. No 320273) will be held on Friday 21st
March 2025 @ 11.00 am at the Outreach Centre, Naas, Co. Kildare for the following
purposes:
To consider and, if thought fit, to pass the following resolutions as ordinary resolutions.

Agenda

  1.          Introduction by Chairperson.
    2.          Establish Quorum.
  2.          To approve the Minutes of the Annual General Meeting held on 22 nd March
    2024.
    4.           To receive, consider & adopt the Statement of Accounts for the year ended
    the 31st
    December 2024, and the Report of the Auditors thereon.
    5.           To receive & consider the Auditors Report for 2024.
    6.           To receive & consider the Directors Report for 2024.
    7.             To appoint Auditors & to authorise the Directors to fix their remuneration.
  3. To receive & consider the Chairperson’s Annual Report for 2024.
  4. To approve the appointment of Margaret Costello as a Director.
  5. To re-elect Patricia Tyrrell, who resigns in accordance with Article 32 of our
    Company
    Constitution.
  6. To re-elect Gerard O’Sullivan, who resigns in accordance with Article 32 of
    our
    Company Constitution.
  7. To transact any other business relevant to the AGM
